DIGITAL CAMERA WORKSHOPS
I run one-one or two-one intensive one-day workshops from my studio at Woodhill, which teach the basics of digital photography. The workshops consist of PowerPoint presentations combined with practical photography, teaching participants how to take control of their camera. Workshops can also be individually tailored to suit a participant's needs. For example, someone already familiar with using their camera may wish more emphasis to be placed on composition or portrait photography.
Subjects covered include:
- understanding how your digital camera works
- knowing how to control shutter speed, aperture and depth of field, and deciding which to use
- learning when to use under-exposure or over-exposure
- the principles behind the use of on-camera and studio flash
- the basics of photographic composition
- the basics of portrait photography
- an introduction to Photoshop
Prices
One-one intensive one-day workshop: $399 including GST
Two-one intensive one-day workshop: $225 per person including GST
